Adrian Mannarino from Anastasia Myskina and Nikolay Davydenko’s team overcame the “lion” Laslo Djere 6/1, 4/6, 10-7. The Sphinxes team shot ahead 2-1.

The second men’s singles of the North Palmyra Trophies turned out to be pretty short. The match between Adrian Mannarino and Laslo Djere with many spectacular rallies lasted only 1 hour 12 minutes.

In an unexpected turn of events which took place during the game joker-captain Dmitry Tursunov chose Sphinxes today and replaced Davydenko on the captain’s bridge. He helped Mannarino secure the tie-break and bring a second point for his team.
